Naturepedic provides naturally luxurious mattresses that promote healthier sleep through healthier materials. Products are independently certified organic and non-toxic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). All Naturepedic products use soft, luxurious organic cotton grown without the pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, defoliants and GMOs associated with conventional cotton. Good for you. Good for the environment.

The company was originally created by environmental engineer Barry Cik, along with his two sons, to give parents a safer alternative to the conventional crib mattresses on the market containing questionable chemicals such as flame retardants and phthalates. As the company grew, Naturepedic’s mission of providing healthier sleep expanded to all ages, leading to a complete line of luxury organic adult mattresses — including the customizable EOS organic modular sleep system.

To produce the healthiest products, Naturepedic sources the best materials. By earning GOTS certification for both its manufacturing facility and individual products, Naturepedic gives consumers the confidence that they are the real thing. In adult mattresses with latex (Naturepedic never uses latex or wool in children’s products for allergy safety), all latex is certified to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS). Additionally, products are certified to the emission standards of GREENGUARD Gold and GREENGUARD Formaldehyde-Free and are certified Made Safe™ for material health by MadeSafe.org. Naturepedic’s manufacturing facility is located in Ohio, in the heart of Amish country. The majority of the company’s production team is Amish, bringing an attention to detail and level of craftsmanship that elevates the company’s products to a higher level than those produced in impersonal automated factories.
