The GFSA is also pleased to recognize that 24 student projects from five schools (AFI, NYU, UCLA, the University of Arizona, and the University of New Orleans) have earned a 2022 Environmental Media Association’s (EMA) Green Seal for Students. The Seal is presented to student productions that achieve a minimum of sustainable production goals identified in the GFSA’s Production Environmental Actions Checklist (PEACHy) for young filmmakers, a guide to reduce waste and lower their carbon footprint. The EMA 2022 Awards took place on October 8th, 2022.
