STYLE NOTES: JADEN SMITH LANDS FIRST AWARDS HOSTING GIG; INSTAGRAM STAR ALEXIS REN LAUNCHES ACTIVEWEAR

Jaden Smith, millennial style icon, entrepreneur and environmental activist, is set to host the 2017 Environmental Media Association Awards. At last year's awards, Smith took home the Male Futures Award for his work with JUST, the "responsibly sourced" water company which uses environmentally friendly packaging. The awards show, set to place Sept. 23 in Los Angeles, will be the 19-year-old's first hosting gig. Given his poetic way with words, we're sure the show will be one you won't want to miss.

Clover Sonoma, a third-generation family-owned and operated California dairy partnered with Environmental Media Association to debut their new non-GMO PSA, “It’s Up to Us.” The PSA features Jordana Brewster, Amy Smart, Carter Oosterhouse, and Baron Davis in celebration of June Dairy Month. The launch was held on June 12 at Au Fudge. As part part of a coordinated campaign, the PSA brings together parents and leaders to encourage the food industry to offer more non-GMO options to consumers and to provide more transparency thus elevating the food system.
