The team wanted to make the film as environmentally sustainable as possible, both behind the scenes and on screen, and that’s just what they did.

These efforts and more earned Nope a Gold Seal from the Environmental Media Association, which recognizes behind the scenes sustainability initiatives.

This fall, the Environmental Media Association will honor mother-daughter duo Maggie Baird and Billie Eilish for their vegan advocacy as it applies to mitigating the climate crisis.

“EMA has a long history of working with dynamic young generations of talent,” Debbie Levin, EMA CEO tells Ethos via email.
