EMA Blog - Minimizing Waste During Covid-19 & The Holidays

Being cognizant of the waste you create during the holidays is more important now than ever. COVID-19 will cause many people to shop online & ship their items, in turn producing excess packaging & emissions.

Your safety & health must be prioritized, so we've brainstormed ways to repurpose, reuse, and reduce your environmental footprint this holiday season.

We sat down (virtually) with Genesis Butler, animal rights and environmental activist and dear friend of the EMA Community, to learn about how the pandemic has affected her sustainable routine.

EMA Partners w/ International Sustainable Energy Organization

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with MK Advisors, a woman-owned small business that enhances the adoption of net-zero technologies. This global partnership will amplify MK Advisors' presence in South Africa & the Pacific Islands, as well as Mana Pacific, an island resiliency social impact enterprise with the mission to unite Hawaii and the 22 Island Nations in the Pacific to transition to 100% renewable energy.

As expressed by Debbie Levin, CEO of EMA, “Partnering with companies like MK Advisors is right in line with our mission. Sharing their story & educating via our vast network helps the global public understand that zero-net technologies are our path to a sustainable and circular economy. We’re thrilled to begin this relationship.”
